Our Clients are the BEST!!

We love our clients and we just wanted to share with you a couple of notes that we just received showing how much our clients love us. We feel so blessed that we get to share the most special days with the most amazing people. We can’t even begin to show our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to our clients.

Sweet Note!!

I hope everyone is having a great week. I just wanted to share this really sweet note that I got from Meredith & Reid (one of our awesome couples that got married on the 24th of May). Photography, specifically wedding photography is an incredibly challenging and emotional field and it is things like this that really keep me going.

Hi Rob!

The pictures on the website I was able to access and they are ABSOLUTELY perfect and everything that I dreamed of. Reid and I feel so lucky! I even showed a few coworkers and they have said how amazing you are. Thank you again for everything…you are so good at your craft and we are so happy to have had the chance to work with you. Reid, who doesn’t really like being photographed, enjoyed it so much that he has already talked to me about sometime down the road having you photograph us in Boston, as we love being there! Anyway, thank you again for everything and please let us know what we need to do in terms of picking out pictures for our album. Please know that we love everything!!!

Meredith

Thank you again Meredith & Reid for letting us be such a special part of your day.

I hope everyone is having a great week!!

Capturing the Emotion…

In the middle of getting a lot of album design done today, I received a really awesome e-mail from Nicole who was one of my brides who got married in December. As a photographer, I am naturally very hard on myself, but getting this kind of e-mail from a client made me feel really great. It is such a good feeling to know that I can bring so much joy and happiness into people’s lives through my photography. And that is the true reason I am a photographer.

Here is what Nicole had to say.

Dear Rob…
Basically, I wanted to thank you once again for doing such a wonderful job.

It was so nice to see you and I wanted to let you know how amazing your studio looks! It is so wonderful to see how much your business has grown. I know this may be a bit cheesy, but because you captured the most important day of my life, I guess I feel some sort of connection to you. And though this may seem strange, to see you succeed makes me feel so proud. I feel so blessed to have found you! You are a remarkable photographer!

To see all of those beautiful photos on the wall… to see Bryan and I on your wall… really brought a tear to my eye. I am just so happy that you are doing so well. The clients you have booked for 2008 probably have no idea how fortunate they are… But they soon will find out and see!

Keep me posted on what’s happening with our albums… I am so excited!!!

Thanks again for everything… really.

A big hug,
Nicole

Thank you Nicole & Bryan for letting us be such a special part of your day!

Please also enjoy this photo, I am working on using a lot more textures in my work and here is what I came up with for this simple photo of Nicole and Bryan. I think subtle sometimes make a big difference.

One of the Reasons I do what I do

I came across a blog of one of the bride’s maids at a recent wedding that my team and I did. I was extremely happy to find two posts that she made about the work we did at her friend’s wedding. Here is what she had to say:

Post One

“I went to a wedding this weekend where it was quite evident that the photographer loved his job, and the deejay did not.

How could I tell this was the case? The photographer and his crew showed up early. He was pleasant, polite, and took great care in his work. If the sun was in the wrong spot, he moved the subject(s) to a different location. If the bride had an idea for a creative shot, he did his best to capture the moment to her liking. At the wedding reception, he was present for all the action, yet “invisible” to the partygoers. All of these details showed that he loved what he did for a living. I know that my friend’s wedding day photos will turn out fabulous.”

Post Two

“In my previous post, I’m sending kudos to the wedding photographer I had the pleasure of posing for last weekend. His website is http://rjtpictures.com, his name is Rob and I highly recommend him. I think he and his team will even travel if you’re doing a Bahamas wedding or something like that.

Well, what do you know, I just visited his blog. It’s just as I suspected. The photos of my friend Liz’s wedding came out gorgeous!

Here I am thinking I’m all tricky with my fancy newfangled digital camera, and then this guy comes along and blows me away with his talent. WOW. I am REALLY impressed. I figured he’d do a good job, but my mind could not even fathom how spectacular this is.

I do what I can with Dreamweaver Fireworks (this is my black and white “art”)… but still it does not compare to what the professionals can capture on film… ;)

Thanks, Rob, Dan, Tony and Vicki for your fine work. I’m getting such a kick out of looking at these photos you took. I would post one of your shots on my blog, but really I think you own the moment. :)”

Thank you Dina for your incredibly kind words. We had a great time at Liz & Dave’s Wedding. Photography is truly a passion for me and I am very lucky to work with a great team of people. I am so glad that our passion shows through the photography and throughout our work. I am very honored to be able to share in couple’s special day and to capture the day so they can remember it forever.

Here is a group shot of the girls (and Dave) at this wedding that I thought was fun. Dina is the one on the far right. If you would like to view Dina’s blog where you can read the full posts you can click here.
