Shooting Just Because…

Today I decided I need some me time so I went to this place in Fairfield called the Cascades. It is a nature area filled with trails and as you might guess… cascades. I have shot engagement sessions there and Kathleen and I go walking there often. It is so nice and peaceful. I was feeling a little stressed today, so I stepped away from the computer, e-mail and the phone for a while and decided I wanted to take my camera and shoot some things just for me. I felt like shooting a bunch of black and white photos as I love how b/w looks for nature shots. Here are few photos. I think that the first one is by far my favorite.
