Maura from Christmas

I was just going through my folders and trying to clean up my desktop. While doing so I found this photo I took of our niece Maura, while we saw her over the Christmas holiday. It is amazing how quickly she is growing up. Although quite serious looking, this one was one of my personal favorites and I just had to share.

Aidan & Keira

I just realized it has been a little while since we posted any pictures of Aidan & Keira (Kathleen’s God Children, for those of you who don’t know). Lucky I just took some Christmas photos of them last weekend. Aidan is now two and a half and his little sister Keira is almost 5 months.

Keira at 5 Weeks

We have had the great honor of babysitting Kathleen’s godchildren (basically our niece and nephew) Aidan & Keira this week. Aidan is now 2 and a half and Keira is a little over 5 weeks, so as you can imagine we have had our hands full. And yes we are really tired. It has been really fun week though and it gave us a chance to take some pictures of the kids. We will have more to post soon but I thought I would share just a few photos of Keira. Maura

This weekend we visited our niece Maura (along with her Mom & Dad) out in PA. It has been way too long since we saw them so of course I had to take as many photos as I could. She is really beautiful and quite photogenic. Here are a few of my favorites.

Keira Grace - The First 2 Days

We just got back from New Jersey where we have been spent the last three Days with our good friends Kathleen & Gabe for the birth of their second child, a incredibly beautiful little girl… Keira Grace. As I said in the previous post, we were there right from the beginning and I don’t think I stopped shooting. These last few days were filled with so many emotions and hopefully the photos show the wonderful moments.

Gabe (the Daddy) is in the military and was fortunate enough to be able to come home (he has been deployed for training - he goes to Iraq in a couple of months) to be there for the birth of Keira and spend some time helping his family get used to their beautiful new addition.

Here are just some of the photos that I captured both on Monday evening when she was born and on Tuesday when we spent time with them at the hospital.


While waiting for Keira to make her grand entrance into the world on Monday evening, Kathleen & I drove around to pass the time. While driving around the sunset over Union Beach in NJ was absolutely beautiful. I just had to capture it in order to tell the story of Keira’s birthday.

The birth was a C Section so the first time we got to see baby Keira was through the nursery windows. Here is Gabe showing her off at just minutes old. What an amazing moment.

Keira opened her eyes up almost immediately when she was handed (by Gabe) to her mommy, Kathleen for the first time. She is so beautiful.

DAY TWO

It is amazing how much hair she has and how precious she is.

I love LOVE photographing baby’s hand’s and feet, the detail just amazes me.

Aidan meeting his little sister for the first time. He was a little shy at first and was a little confused by her yawning, but it was so cute.


He did warm up pretty quickly though and reached out and gave her a big hug and kiss. Such an emotional and adorable moment.



Aidan made a painting for Keira as a gift and this is him giving it to her. So cute!!


Daddy & Aidan, there is no mistaking that they are father and son!! Aidan is a mini-version of his Dad.

Introducing Keira Grace!!

At 11:14pm tonight (July 14th) our good friends Kathleen & Gabe welcomed their second child into this world… a beautiful little girl, Keira Grace. Kathleen & I were fortunate enough to be at the hospital with Kathleen & Gabe and her mom. I was taking photos of her at just an hour old. I will have a ton more in the next couple days but for now here are just a couple. She is absoutley amazing!!

Babysitting Amelia & Hartley

A couple of weeks ago Kathleen and I babysat for our friends Tony & Michelle. They have two very sweet little girls, Amelia & Hartley. I just had to get a couple shots of them when we were over their house. Here are just a few, how cute are they?!
