Donald & Gary’s Album

I am so excited that Don & Gary’s Album came in today. I photographed their civil union on June 2 of this year. Their album is a 12×12 Black Leather Album with Etched Metal Cover. Working with Don and Gary through the album design process has been great. I couldn’t wait to get their album to them. They said to me the hardest part was not choosing the pictures but waiting for the production to be complete. Here are a couple of shots of the book.

Mom & Dad’s New Album!!

So in a post from a while ago, I said I was taking the wedding album of my future in-laws and turning it into a brand new album. (To read the that post click here.) They have been married for 36 years now and as you can imagine through the years their album as aged. The photos for all faded and some damaged by dust and scratches. I took the original album pictures and scanned and corrected them. In addition I added photos that were not in the original album so that the story of their day could be told better.

The new album came out awesome. It is a fawn book with an Irish Celtic Knot inlayed tile. Kathleen (my fiance) and I are giving this album to them as a gift for helping us with our wedding, which by the way is on Friday the 7th!!!! Here are some of the shots of the book.

Pioneer Marching Band

This morning I took the annual shots of the Sacred Heart University Pioneer Marching Band. It was a very hot and humid morning but the band still got dressed up in their incredibly heavy uniforms. Below is one of the shots from the session. Also be sure to check out their webpage.

I’ve Been Tagged

Ok so Vicki got to me and it is my turn. For those of you who are new to this whole photography blog thing, there has been a game of blog tag where if you are tagged you have to list 8 random facts about your self, so here are the rules and here I go.

THE RULES:
1. Post these rules before you give the facts.
2. List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
3. At the end of your post, choose (tag) someone and list their name (linking to their page.)
4. Leave them a comment on their blog letting them know they’ve been tagged!

1) Other than being a photographer, my dream job has always been to be a commercial airline pilot. I am obsessed with flying and commercial airliners. If you are interested, there is this incredibly cool site to check out: http://www.airliners.net.

2) I am a HUGE Apple (Macintosh) fan. This is obviously showing off my true geek / techy side. I actually used to work for Apple for a while while I was in College as a Campus Rep. Either way I love computers and technology in general and I think Apple makes a superior product.

3) I love driving a standard transmission. I had a standard for quite a long time but am currently driving an automatic as I had an opportunity that I couldnt pass up. Some day soon, maybe I will buy a new car but first I want to get my Canon 1D Mark III.

4) Although not standard, I love my Jetta.

5) I have been to 20 Dave Matthews Concerts, the latest being a few weeks ago.

6) I have a slight OCD personality in a good way :).

7) I am getting married one week from this Friday on the 7th to my beautiful and wonderful fiance. And although everyone asks, no I am not doing my own photography. We have the wonderful Autumn Lin from NJ doing our photography.

8) I love going out to eat and trying new restaruants. Related, I also have been addicted to Starbucks. Coffee Light Frappuccinos rock!!

Ok, so now I have to tag someone. Since everyone on my blog list seems to have already been tagged, I guess that person that I am going to tag is Sue. Now Sue you will have to officially start a blog!!

Sweet Custom Album

Here is the album that I was talking about in the last post. This is the album that I did for Arin & Chris’ Engagement session. It is a 12×6 custom album. It has an ebony leather and etched metal cover. Very cool. It opens up to a 12×12 spread. This is one sweet size for engagement and bridal sessions. Check it out below!!

One Very Cool Silk Album

As I said in an earlier post, I have had a lot of albums coming in lately. I just received this album for a bridal session that I did. This album is a 10×10 album with a royal blue silk cover. The cover has a hand made metal tile. There are many different kinds of both metal and ceramic tiles available for album covers. I am so happy to be able to offer my clients what I consider to be the best albums out there. Also check back tomorrow, I am expecting an engagement albums to be delivered. I designed a 12×6 album which opens to a 12×12 spread. It is definetly a custom size but one that is fun especially for engagement or bridal sessions. I will post pictures as soon as I receive that album.

Here are some pictures of the silk cover album.

Website Back Up!!

My website is back up. It continues to be a little slower than normal. The kinks are working out. Thank you all for your patience.
