A Car Story

A few months ago I posted some pictures of this old Buick that Don & Gary used for their transportation on the day of their Civil Union. I just loved this car and I thought it was a great alternative to a traditional limo. A couple months after their big day Camila and Kevin also decided to not only use the same car but it was the exact same driver who was driving it. I thought to myself that this car was following me.

Anyways while Kathleen and I were in Hawaii we went to this the historic surfing town of Haleiwa on the North Short of Oahu. While we were driving through the town looking for this incredibly awesome shave ice place I spotted a very similar car to the one that Don & Gary and Camila and Kevin used on their wedding days. The only difference wasn’t in what I would call the best condition and decked out much differently than theirs. It was parked outside the Haleiwa Surf Shop with a sign posted on it say “Rent Me”. I had to take a few pictures of the car because I thought it was just that cool.

By the way we did end of finding Matsumoto Shave Ice and ended up going back again because it was that good. Here are some of the pictures of the car, be sure to click HERE to check out the original car that I was talking about. Enjoy!!

Pearl Harbor & USS Missouri

While on our honeymoon in Hawaii we visited the Pearl Harbor Memorial (USS Arizona) and the USS Missouri. The memorial was incredibly moving and emotional. The day began with a 30 minute movie about the attack on Pearl Harbor followed by the boat ride over to the memorial. While you are at the memorial you can see actual parts of the ship in the shallow waters of the harbor and oil skimming the surface. After seeing the memorial we toured the USS Missouri which was used up to 1992. Both were very interesting sites and I recommend going to both if you are ever out in Hawaii. Here are some pictures from that day.

Aloha from Hawaii

Aloha everyone. I am very happy to be writing to you all from beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. Kathleen and I had a beautiful wedding on the 7th, I can’t wait to share photos from our day. Once we get them I will be sure to put of some of our favorites. We have been enjoying our honeymoon which we will be on until the end of this week. We started in Honolulu where we stayed in the Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort for one night before we went on a week long cruise. The cruise stopped at Hilo where we went to Volcano’s National Park (very cool). We next went to Maui for two days where we explored the Road to Hana, then on to Kona, and then Kauai for two days. Kauai is by far our favoite island. Once we left Kauai the shipped sailed past the incredibly beautiful Na Pali Coast, all I can say is wow. When the shipped docked yesterday back in Honolulu we stayed at the famous Kahala Resort and now we are back at the Marriott. This is the first time that we have had real access to the internet so I wanted to share some of our photos so far. Once we return I look forward to getting back to everyone’s e-mails and phone calls. I hope you enjoy some of our photos, I am sure we will have more once we return.

We’re Getting Married!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my fiance’ Kathleen and I will be getting married this weekend down in New Jersey. It is a very exciting time for us and I am sure I will have plenty of pictures to share once we return from our honeymoon.

We are going on our honeymoon right after our wedding. I will not have access to e-mail or phone until the 24th of September. I will be returning all calls and e-mails once I return.

Here are some of our engagement pictures that we took back in October by our photographer Autumn Lin. As you can see here, I am truly the lucky one. I will talk to everyone once we return!!
