Nicole & Bryan’s Wedding Slideshow

It has been a little while since I posted a slideshow and I was anxious to get one up. It is my goal for 2008 to make a slideshow for every wedding I do. Anyways, here is Nicole & Bryan’s Wedding Slideshow. I (along with my second shooter, Sue) photographed their wedding on December 8th. The wedding party girls all wore white dresses. It was a really nice Christmas wedding. I hope you enjoy!!

Snow Day & 100th Blog Post!!

So this week has been filled with so many great things. On Wednesday I went to see Mike Colon and Bob Davis up in Hartford for their “Master Your Craft Seminar”. It was so rewarding to see such amazing photographers. Last night I went to my first CT Pug Meeting which is a group made up of professional photographers from around the state. It was great to get to network and I feel so good to know I have such a solid support system. I will post more about both of those things soon.

But first I thought I would share some of my snow day pictures from today. I didn’t even know it was supposed to snow so seeing it come down this hard was quite a surprise. I experimented with some new super cool film textures with these images.

Also this is my 100th Blog Post. Thank you so much to those who keep coming back and keeping up on my blog. You are all awesome. Enjoy the day indoors!!

Carolina & Angelo’s Engagement Album & RJT Studio Sample

Carolina & Angelo’s Engagement Album came in yesterday while I was shooting Bernadette & Kevin’s Wedding. I made a studio sample of their album as well to add to my album collection. The studio sample has a beautiful quarter bound stitched (shimmer bronze and copper graphite) cover. Carolina & Angelo’s chose to have the very popular metal cover with a merlot binding. Both books are 10×10 and absolutely gorgeous and fine-linen textured paper . Here are a few photos of the albums.

Bernadette & Kevin’s Wedding

Yesterday I photographed Bernadette & Kevin’s Wedding which was held at their house in Ridgefield. I began the day by taking some relaxed portraits of the two of them right in their back yard. The sun shining through the trees made for a really beautiful backdrop. It was a nice intimate ceremony with family and close friends. After the ceremony I was taking some group shots and Bernadette had asked me if I had a tripod so that I could be in the photo as well. Of course I did and I was honored to be in a group picture with everyone in attendance. I had such a good time photographing their special day.

Also Valentine’s Day is my parent’s wedding anniversary, so Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!!

Here are some of the photos from Bernadette & Kevin’s day. Happy Friday Everyone!!

Valentine’s Day Wedding

I am getting ready to shoot Bernadette & Kevin’s wedding in Ridgefield. They are having a home ceremony. With all of the weather craziness this week, I am so glad for them that it turned out to be a nice day. Be sure to check back later when I will have some photos from their wedding. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!

Laura & Chris’ Engagement

Today on our way back from New Jersey we stopped in Stamford at Cove Island so I could photograph Laura and Chris for their engagement session. I have never photographed at the Cove before but it is certainly a beautiful park. The weather made the session a little more interesting as it was incredibly windy. Laura and Chris were great though and I was able to capture some really great shots of them. Here are a few of my favorites.

Aidan’s Birthday Portraits & Gabe’s Police Academy Graduation

It has been a busy weekend for us down in Jersey. I was asked to take some portraits of Aidan (Kathleen’s godson) for his 2nd birthday coming up in March. He is at the age where he is now becoming aware of the camera in turn really giving me a challenge. That being said, he is still a ton of fun to photograph. I can’t believe how quickly he is growing up.

In addition to taking some portraits of Aidan, I was also asked to take some portraits of our friend Gabe (Aidan’s dad) who just graduated from the police academy. I took some of him in front of a backdrop (very formally) as well as some more relaxed photos outside.

Below are some of my favorites from what I photographed today. Tomorrow (Sunday) I will be meeting up with a great couple, Laura & Chris for their engagement session. Be sure to check back for some pictures from their session. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
