Lisa & Marc’s Wedding @ The Delamar in Greenwich
On Sunday, Kathleen, Sue and I headed down to Greenwich for Lisa & Marc’s wedding. We started off at the Hyatt Regency, where Lisa and her girls were getting ready. The suite was filled with so much excitement when we arrived – Lisa was getting the finishing touches of her make up done, a couple of the girls were getting their hair done, and her maid of honor was passing around the champagne. Once Lisa was ready to go we headed down to the Hyatt’s beautiful atrium and indoor garden for some bridal portraits. Lisa was a natural – it was like she was born to be in front of the camera. And she was glowing – the mix of how beautiful she looked in her gown and the excitement to be marrying Marc, really showed on her face.
The ceremony and reception were at the beautiful Delamar Hotel in Greenwich. This was our first time there and it is a quite the place – located right on the water with a very European feel. The ceremony took place on the deck overlooking the dock filled with sailboats and yachts. The architecture and the location reminded us of Paris and walking along the Seine. Which is why it was the perfect location for Lisa and Marc – his father is French. In fact, several of his relatives flew in for the wedding, making their first trip to the U.S. Quite an introduction to the states, a wedding in Greenwich!
They wanted to take a bunch of relaxed portraits after the ceremony – something that clearly made us very happy. We walked along the dock and the grounds of the Delamar – and Lisa and Marc were so excited to finally be able to just be with each other. Marc couldn’t seem to kiss Lisa enough and Lisa was enjoying every second of it.
Once the reception started, Lisa was all over the dance floor singing along to almost every song and showing off her moves. Marc would jump in with her and the two of them really would take over the floor, with Marc even dipping Lisa a couple of times. It was definitely a fun group! Here are some of our favorite photos from their day, enjoy!!

Lisa’s beautiful Alvina Valenta Couture Gown. The detail and the design of the dress was so unique and gorgeous.
Some last minute makeup touches before putting on her dress.
A couple of details.
I really loved the light coming in the window as Lisa was getting her makeup done. Doesn’t her hair look great?!
Almost time for the dress, but first the earrings.
Kathleen captured this shot and to me it is INCREDIBLE. I LOVE the focus and detail of the Lisa’s eyelids.
The Greenwich Hyatt has these incredible indoor gardens which provided a great place for us to take some bridals of Lisa before heading over to the ceremony.
Lisa was such a natural in front of the camera and wanted to take more and more photos, she was so happy to be in her dress and to be getting married.
The deck at the Delamar Hotel overlooking the Greenwich Harbor provided the perfect place for Lisa & Marc’s intimate outdoor ceremony.
Before the ceremony Lisa & Marc signed the Ketubah as part of the Jewish Wedding Tradition.
Lisa teared up as she caught a first glimpse of her soon-to-be husband as she was walked down the aisle by her parents.
I get really emotional at this part of the ceremony, it is just so sweet.
I LOVE everything about this picture!!
The rose pedals down the center aisle made for such a romantic atmosphere.
Almost married!!
Lisa & Marc’s first kiss.
I really like the colors in this one as Lisa heads to the water for some photos.
Marc was so excited to take some formals with his new wife, I think we could have photographed them all day and he wouldn’t mind one bit.
The Greenwich Harbor is so beautiful…
…so we had to walk down to the docks to take advantage of the surroundings. The left shot is my view and the right shot is Kathleen’s view.
I know I have said this before, but I really love boats. The boats along with the harbor combined with the incredible October sky gave us the perfect backdrop.
We walked around the Delamar Property for a few more photos, this is right in front of the hotel.
There were some bicycles lined up in front of the hotel that we thought would make for some interesting photos. The way Lisa is looking at Marc is so wonderful!
Isn’t the cake just beautiful?!
Their first dance!!
This shot was so sweet, during the dance with her dad, Lisa was so overcome with emotion that she starting tearing up.
The Hora!!
This shot was actually Marc’s idea so of course I shot it for them, I thought it was a fun way to finish this post.
Thank you Lisa & Marc for letting us share in your beautiful day!! Enjoy your honeymoon, and take lots of pictures!!Rob & Kathleen

hey stranger! it was great seeing you at PUG a couple of weeks back. I don’t have any more weddings this year, but I would love to collaborate next season so we can shoot things up together
I love that first details shot. The repetition of the pattern in the dress and the headboard is gorgeous! i especially love that fields shot. I think you can tell from my maternity session that I’m a huge fan of grass
but I also love that same angle you used with the shot of the sign. Very creative and documentary
